What another fantastic weekend at the 17th annual Asia Superyacht Rendezvous (ASR Cup).

Thank you to all of the owners, captains and crews who participated to make this year truly special.

The weather may not have been on our side, but that didn’t stop the fun or the fantastic time in racing on the beautiful waters of Mai Khao Bay.

Another round of thanks to Mick and Som Cotter for hosting the inaugural cocktail party on the absolutely stunning S/Y La Numero Uno, Perini Navi’s first-ever constructed yacht. Appreciation is extended to world-renowned bartender Salim Khoury, formerly of The Savoy, for mixing up his famous cocktail ‘The Blushing Monarch’ inspired by the late Princess Diana. And, of course, to Executive Chef Fabrizio Demichelis of Phuket’s own Trattoria del Buongustaio, for serving up his incredible tapas throughout the evening.

Congratulations to M/Y Darling for winning Best Design in this year’s Challenge and to S/Y Aphrodite for winning both The Challenge and the 2018 ASR Cup, as well as to S/Y Intrigue and S/Y La Numero Uno for a fantastic two days of racing.

To all of the attending yachts – M/Y Aveline; M/Y Siam Princess; S/Y Seraph; M/Y Darling; S/Y La Numero Uno; S/Y Aphrodite; S/Y Stereden-Ann-Esperanz; S/Y Intrigue; and M/Y Sunrays – we can’t thank you enough for spending your weekend with us. You all looked incredible out on the water!
